Our business premises is in Britannia Road in Warley, not far from Brentwood Station, but our clients come from all over the UK.
Bleed is when the printing goes past the edge of the sheet where it will be cut. In other words, the bleed is where the paper needs to be cut. The bleed is the part on the side of a document that gives us a little bit of room to account for paper movement and design flaws.

Offset printing is a method in which an image is transferred (or “offset”) from a plate to a rubber blanket and then to the printing surface. When used with the lithographic process, which is based on the fact that oil and water repel each other, the offset technique uses a flat (planographic) image carrier on which the image to be printed gets ink from ink rollers while the non-printing area helps to attract a film of water, keeping the non-printing area ink-free.
The difference in quality can range from almost nothing to a big deal. Our high-end digital press will do a good job with most photos and text. But if a job has large areas of solid colour, the print quality will be much better with offset printing. Even though we use the best digital presses on the market, we can’t promise that all short-run jobs will be printed at offset quality.
We always send a digital proof, but we can also offer a printed proof at an additional cost.
